Um, hi 2017? Can't believe we all made it out of 2016.... here's hoping this year shapes up to be at least a little bit better haha! For the past two years, I've done an enormous post of all of the books that I was looking forward to in the year ahead, and though it is a lot more books, I decided to do the same thing this year. (I think I have over 80 this year lol) the full list is under the cut, I hope that this will give you some inspiration and excitement over the books that are coming out in the coming year! I think 2017 is going to be awesome for YA, so I seriously can't wait.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Starting off with Continuations of Series!
(Second, Third, Fourth, etc. books in a particular series, be aware that there may be spoilers!)starting with books that don’t have a release date yet:
1. Thunderhead (Arc of a Scythe #2) – Neal Shusterman
No info yet on this sequel to Scythe! I really hope this ends up actually coming out in 2017, since the first one came out so late in 2016.
2. Untitled (Illuminae #3) – Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
If this third book is anything like the first two in this series, it is going to be high octane incredibly space hijinks, and I can't wait! do we have guesses about the color of this one? I'm hoping for a purple or green!!
3. Untitled (The Gold Seer #3) – Rae Carson
The Gold Seer is some amazing Gold Rush-era historical fiction, and I really love the covers of these as well, so I can't wait to see what this one is going to be about!
☆☆☆
in order of release date, be aware of spoilers!
(there are a ton more sequels coming out, but I fell sort of behind on series last year, so these are only continuations of series I've read!)
